Gil Schafer. Reblog forever - the whitewashed brick, the black shutters, the boxwods in black box planters, the steps, the dormers (especially the one with the scroll pediment for no reason), the little lanterns, the everything. I die.
So perrttyyyy :)

Adore millwork that goes three-quarters of the way up a wall. Beautiful turquoise and off white palette, love the fretwork around the tv, and the smart herringbone stone work in the fireplace. Burns and Beyerl Architects in a London family home.
Light blue walls!
Simply a symphony of nickel and grey. Such a limited palette can yield such rich results. I especially like the two different sizes of subway tile on the walls and the orb light fixture (you can see how one might be tempted to put in a traditional chandelier and how that would’ve ruined the whole composition). It’s just as much about what you don’t do as what you do do, you know what I mean?
Huge tub
Foyer in a Fifth Avenue apartment by Shelton, Mindel & Associates. Divine black and white floor and plasterwork ceiling.
Look at that ceilinggg!!
Renée LeJeune Hallberg RLH Studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wallcovering is Schumacher Albero Floreale in Aqua. Love the barrel vaulted ceiling, the basketweave floor tole and the way the latitudinal space really pulls you in. Beautiful natural light streams in from the windows.
Gorrgggg!
English style brick and limestone townhouse in the leafy residential Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago by Burns and Beyerl Architects.
Soo pretty!
Always trying not to fall into the “only white kitchens forever” trap - look at this baby blue stunner by Michelle Workman. Personally, I wouldn’t put a non-Viking/Wolf range in my own home, because they are clearly the best for actual cooking, but this glossy black and gold La Cornue puppy looks dang good against the icy blue cabinetry and glittering stainless steel subway tile backsplash.
Sooo perttyyy!
